Iron ore

The Channar iron ore mine of Sinosteel is one of the biggest joint venture projects between China and Australia with a total reservation of 200 million tons of hematite producing more than 11 million tons per year sold to major steel mills in China.

Indian iron ore is of comparably high quality with good iron content, reducibility and low cost, Sinosteel is enjoying an obviously increased market share in Indian and froming a stable strategic ties MMTC MSPL and other miners/traders in India, and a procuring quality iron ore of comparably low prices can also be sourced from small and mediumsize Indian mines like Adani and Rungta.

Sinosteel produces/supplies in agglomerated and non-agglomerated iron ore products. Agglomerated include pellets and sintered iron; non-agglomerated includes lump, fine and concentrates outsourced from Australia, India, Brazil, South Africa, Russia, Ukraine, Venezuela, Indonesia, Iran, America etc.
